I confess
Sunday, August 16, 2009
I confess to murder, possession of guns,
relationship with the foreign enemy, collusion and compromise.
I confess to being a shameful puppet,to riot and corruption,
drunkenness and obscenity
I confess to velvet revolution,to Mousavi's coup against the Supreme Leader's House.
I confess that Khatami is a hypocrite, and Sheikh (Karrubi) is obviously a vulgar saboteur.
I confess that the Earth is flat, the night is bright and the left is right.
I confess that I would give my life for the Supreme Leader, that he didn't have any part in killing all these people.
I confess that the night is white,it was just an optical illusion if I mistakenly saw it black.
I confess to having been wrong,to having wasted my life in sin.
I confess that the stench of my clothesis my own fault alone.
I wet my pants.Just let me clean up, let me wash for prayers,I confess that I yearn for water.
I confess that there were no bottles, no cables,no ceilings with no fans, and no twisted ropes.
I confess that the pills are just a myth,a traitor like me deserves no mercy.
I will confess, just leave me for a second. My friends are dying, give them a piece of bread.
I will confess, please, please just beat me.What has my mother done? What has the old woman done?
I will confess, please just don't let my daughter knowwhat has happened to me these past months
"Mr Mohajerani, my good friend, you would have thought the same as me if you were in Iran too."
